Shortest URL Shortener ever!

As the title said, http://v.gd is the shortest URL shortener i ever seen (and it can techically exist). I find this service super comfortable and decided to make it even more comfortabler and share the results: restartless Firefox add-on and bookmarklet.

5.04.2014 UPDATE: my Firefox addon "Shortest URL Shortener ever" was even fully approved and now available for download at https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/shortest-url-shortener/ Download and enjoy!

Firefox Add-On "Shortest URL shortener ever" and bookmarklet

So i created a simple browser bookmarklet for it, which trims the URL of current page outputting the result in new tab.
Drug this link to your Bookmarks bar and enjoy!
And kudos to Matt Cutts for his bookmarklet tutorial - yes, he does such things too...
Finally i created a Firefox add-on for this shortest URL shortening service ever: here is my extension description for the AMO (addons.mozilla.org).
Shortest URL shortener ever shortens the current page's URL and copies it to the clipboard with a single click using http://V.GD (is short for "very good"). This add-on needs no browser restart for installation. The activating button is located per default in the bottom-right of the addons bar, but you can freely replace it. You can shorten URLs up to 5,000 characters long. After clicking an activating button you get a Firefox toaster-style notification about successfully URL's shortening and copying it to the clipboard.
Enjoy!
